This is not a normal blog of daily responses to current events.

This is a man's low level 'website', in which I am trying to expose a simple, but powerful
idea about changing the 2008 presidential election.

Please view the following entries as a whole, though crudely written, as the outline
of an idea about using the power of handwritten letters to possibly change the shape
of the election. Still over 200 hours left in election. THIS IDEA is leveraged by the power
of hours, no pun intended....explore it....you'll 'see' it.

Why is this a good idea?

1. Its simple
2. Its powerful
3. Its fast
4. Its inexpensive
5. Its grassroots, so easily defensible
6. It bypasses Main Stream Media (MSM)
7. It can be incredibly Viral
8. It, if done sincerely, is easily defensible.
9. It can be a phenomenon very quickly
10. It lengthens the election from days to hours....

"Curse the darkness.....or light a candle."




....Or....If your child were in grave danger, how determined would
you be to save him?

1. You are energized by election
2. You know an independent leaning toward voting for Sen. Obama.
3. You have a friendship/family relationship with these person(s).
4. You write a warm, sincere, humble letter to them, accenting your shared experiences.
5. You include critical line....."Please, I ask you to keep an open mind until Nov. 4th..."
6. You deliver it URGENTLY.  Take day off work. Drive 60 miles. Send UPS RED.
7. Repeat, and use 21st century technology to spread word to others to write letters
8. Result.......A letter doubled every hour for 30 hours is over 5 million letters. Sound familiar?

Imagine the following as a vague outline of a HANDWRITTEN letter delivered to someone who
may be leaning toward voting for Senator Obama. The kernel of idea of this whole site is the BOLD sentences in the middle of letter.......

Dear Bob,
I enjoyed all the dinners our two couples have shared thru the years. I appreciated so much the help you have given me when my wife's health was poor. You've been there for me and I can't tell you how much it has meant to me. These things we have shared gives me the confidence for the following.
I have a big favor to ask you regarding the upcoming election. I ask this humbly, because I know we have had some disagreements about who to vote for....My request is simple. Just please consider keeping an open mind about your idea of voting for Senator Obama. Election day is Nov. 4th; until that time I would greatly appreciate your trying to keep an open mind to the evidence on both candidates. That's all. I appreciate your time and your friendship.
Either way, I value your friendship and look forward to many more adventures for our two families in the future. Take care. You are the Best.

IF Sincere, humble, friendly, short and to the point, and mentions the shared experiences we each have with another human being, is it not powerful?

Fast moving......extremely fast with text messaging, cell phones, email, twitter, etc. Tap the anger with this simple but powerful idea.

"A penny doubled for 30 days is over $5 million."

or......

"A letter doubled for 30 hours is over 5 million letters."

The power of a fast-moving idea.....explosive in how quickly
it can take root and create change in news cycles; news cycles hungry for new stories.

A hand delivered letter....from one friend to another.....has power.

A URGENTLY delivered letter....you called and put importance
on getting this simple, handwritten letter to them; this has even
more power.

This HOURS clock should be in right corner of all web pages...

It lengthens each day......well over
over 200 hours are left in this election......
a large explosion of letters
would make people wonder....

What am I missing?
Why are all these people hand delivering letters?
Why are people sending these letters by UPS RED?

"....my cousin to said it was urgent. He came to house at midnight
and handed me this very simple letter....and it just said...keep an open
mind.....I thought ' I can do that'."

"Thousands and tens of thousands of stories about these letters...what am
I missing?"

    * Existing website or blog
    * Must be credible site
    * Must be able to contact quickly
    * Must be willing to listen
    * Must be able to 'see" idea
    * Must be fast to act/setup new webpages
    * Must get wide attention to idea
    * Must be secure, high-bandwidth, stable
    * Site with animation capability would be good....
